My Story
As a working mom of two beautiful girls, there is nothing better than creating a sense of warmth and love at home. Spending time with my kids and my wonderful husband in our home once work is done is probably the most cherished moment of my day. Our home is my sanctuary and my personal retreat to relax, breathe and absorb all the laughter and giggles my two girls have to with share us.
I also have a busy full-time corporate job where I typically work remotely from my home office--- so probably 90% of my day is spent inside my house! It's important for me to create not only a distinction between "work" and "family", but to keep our home safe and secure for my children.
Mood and environment to me are everything. I love to "create a memorable experience" whether I am hosting and cooking a dinner party for family & friends, organizing an event at work, or traveling to a new place our family has never been to.
At home and when I'm working, words that come to mind are focus, determination, confidence, grit, mindfulness. And then when I'm done with work and spending time with my family, words that express this are words like calm, love, affection, laughter, relaxation.
So at home, how I do create these two distinct environments all under one roof? With scent! :)
I came across Scentsy about a year ago and it was love since day one! Not only is the product of high quality, but the various different scent options have allowed me to create that mood for each area of my house. I am addicted! And more importantly, we no longer have to burn dangerous candles at home that emit smoke and that could potential harm our young girls.
So the decision to join Scentsy was an easy choice for me. I have started to grow my team and have had the pleasure of earning sales milestones along the way. It has been a great ride so far! The products are fabulous and I wanted to share them with others!
